Family Counseling Center LLC

Who We Are and What We Do

We are mental health professionals who believe that, regardless of the challenges people face, it is their perceptions and attitudes that ultimately determine their happiness. The kind of wholeness we work toward is reflected in behavior and attitudes—how a person responds to problems, situations, and other people.

Working with one of our counselors is a different experience than you might expect. Often people tell us they have had prior counseling that "didn't work," and they are still struggling with the same problems year after year. Our conviction is that effective counseling is not just about the problems we face, but how we approach them that determines our success or failure over time.

Integrated Psychological Services

Wellness lies beyond our past experiences and encompasses a sense of inner peace and wholeness, regardless of circumstances. An integrative therapeutic approach addresses many dimensions of well-being—mental, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual—using varied evidence-based modalities. The optimal goal for therapeutic problem-solving is to achieve sustainable results—not just temporary relief from emotional pain.

Mission

Family Counseling Center LLC is dedicated to providing a full spectrum of evidence-based, integrative psychological services to all our patients, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, so that they may lead more satisfying, balanced, healthy, and happy lives.

Philosophy

We believe that psychotherapy is a critical tool for helping people develop deeper self-awareness in order to create new possibilities for healthier, happier lifestyles.

Whether in times of hope or despair, it is clear that people benefit from a better understanding of themselves, their beliefs, and their behavior. Self-knowledge and the ability to understand the motivations behind our behaviors frees us from feeling victimized and creates opportunities for regaining personal power and happiness.
