Dr. Judith Williams has been practicing integrative psychology in northern Indiana and the surrounding tri-state area for the past ten years, first as a mental health counselor and more recently as a licensed clinical psychologist. She recently assumed ownership of the Family Counseling Center and looks forward to growing and developing the practice to best meet the changing needs of the professional and private sector of the community. She brings extensive energy, knowledge, and experience to all aspects of her career as a psychologist.

As owner and clinical director of Family Counseling Center LLC, Dr. Williams emphasizes evidence-based treatment strategies designed to help individuals develop a healthy understanding of the self by fostering proactive awareness and working toward a balance of mind, body and spirit. She specializes in a multidimensional method of cognitive-behavioral therapy which incorporates Adlerian techniques, hypnotherapy, and a variety of interventions proven to alleviate anxiety, depression, and a multitude of mental health conditions.

Education & Training

Dr. Williams received a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with certification in Clinical Hypnosis from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Education from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Adler School. She holds two state licenses to practice counseling and psychology and is endorsed as a Health Service Provider in Psychology by the state of Indiana. In addition, Dr. Williams holds national certification as a parenting coordinator and custody evaluator by the Professional Academy of Custody Evaluators. She is currently working toward certification as a provider of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction meditation.

She is a member in good standing with the American Psychological Association, the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Professional Academy of Custody Evaluators, the National Health Service Corps, and the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.
